Race Info
The Sunshine Coast Marathon is a flat, single-lap course along the beachfronts of Alexandra Headland, Mooloolaba and Maroochydore on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, about an hour north of Brisbane. The AIMS-certified course starts and finishes near Alexandra Headland and crosses the Sunshine Motorway Bridge twice. It is a Boston Marathon qualifier and runs annually in early August alongside a half marathon, 10K, 5K and 2K. Ryan Gregson holds the men's course record at 2:14:05, set in 2025.
