The 50K is a loop ultramarathon on the paved 1.64-mile course at Pace Bend Park in Spicewood, Texas, on the shore of Lake Travis. Runners repeat the same loop, passing the start and finish area each lap where they can set up a personal aid station. The paved route has moderate climbs and gentle descents with no trail sections.
