Runners will start in chilly 36°F conditions — dress in layers for the corral and plan to shed early. Temperatures rising to 50°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. Moderate humidity at 70% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

The Harvest Wind 10K starts and finishes at Danenberger Family Vineyards in New Berlin, west of Springfield, Illinois. It goes off at 8:00 AM on November 7, 2026, at the same time as the half marathon and marathon.
