Skagit Flats Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps, rain likely
Mild 55°F temps at gun time mean comfortable early miles without overheating risk. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. Rain is likely — waterproof your phone and bib, and consider a disposable poncho for the corral. High humidity (92%) will make it harder to cool down through sweat — increase fluid intake accordingly.

Race Info
The Skagit Flats Half Marathon is an out-and-back run on flat rural roads through Skagit Valley farmland. It starts on Victoria Street at Burlington-Edison High School, follows the marathon route out under I-5 and along Avon-Allen and Benson roads, and turns around about three quarters of a mile past the point where the marathon turns north on Thomas Road. Runners come back along the same roads and finish on the high school track. The half marathon course is USATF-certified.
