Siesta Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Warm start, big temp swing, chance of rain
Starting at 68°F, heat will be a factor from the gun — go out conservative and stay on top of hydration. Temps will climb significantly to 86°F by later miles, so expect fading conditions as the race progresses. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. There's a chance of rain, so have a backup gear plan ready.

Race Info
Siesta Half Marathon is a half marathon with 10K and 5K options held each spring in San Antonio, Texas, starting and finishing at Mission County Park. The out-and-back course runs along the San Antonio River's Mission Reach, part of the city's River Walk system. ScallyWompus runs it as one leg of its Texas Hill Country race series and says the course was USATF-certified in an earlier edition before a hiatus.
