Race Info
The Shark Bite Half Marathon runs each January in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, as the Sunday half of a two-day race weekend that also includes a Saturday 5K called the Feeding Frenzy. The half marathon starts near the Flagler Avenue beach approach on Buenos Aires Street and follows a certified road course, crossing the Indian River causeway before returning through the historic Canal Street and Flagler Avenue districts. Runners can combine the Saturday 5K and Sunday half into a Half Marathon Challenge. Red Pointer Productions organizes and times the race.
