Second State Marathon was a marathon and half marathon held at Promised Land State Park in Greentown, Pennsylvania (Pike County). It was organized by STAR Racing as the Pennsylvania leg of the multi-state "Tri-State Challenge," run alongside New Jersey's Zip Code 07662 Marathon and New York's XCelsior Marathon on consecutive days. The marathon held Boston Marathon-qualifying status and was USATF-certified. STAR Racing's results archive lists an edition in 2023; the organizer's current multi-state event listing, renamed the "Bi-State Challenge" for 2026, no longer includes a Pennsylvania race.
