1/2 Sauer 1/2 Kraut 10K
Race Day Weather
Warm start, warming through the race
Starting at 66°F, heat will be a factor from the gun — go out conservative and stay on top of hydration. Temperatures rising to 78°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing.

Race Info
The 10K is an out-and-back run on the Pennypack Park course along Pennypack Creek in Philadelphia, on the easier section of the park rather than the hillier midsection used by the longer distances. It starts and finishes at the Ed Kelly Amphitheater, on the same morning as the half marathon and marathon, and is the shortest distance of the weekend. The route follows the shaded, traffic-free bike path beside the creek.
