Race Info
The Run Crazy Horse Half Marathon is a point-to-point course that starts at the Visitor's Center at Crazy Horse Memorial in the Black Hills. The first three miles follow paved and gravel roads inside the memorial grounds, past the old schoolhouse and out to the bus turnaround at the base of the carving, before the course joins the Mickelson Trail. The last 10 miles run on the trail, a mix of downhill and flat, and finish on Main Street in Hill City. The course is USATF-certified and held on the Sunday of race weekend.
