Penang Bridge International Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Hot start, chance of rain, high humidity
A warm 77°F start means heat management is critical — consider dialing back your goal pace by 10-20 sec/mi. There's a chance of rain, so have a backup gear plan ready. High humidity (93%) will make it harder to cool down through sweat — increase fluid intake accordingly.

Race Info
The Penang Bridge International half marathon starts and finishes at Aspen Vision City in Batu Kawan, on the mainland side of Penang. Runners head out along the roads toward the Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah Bridge, climb onto the Penang Second Bridge, turn around partway across its deck and run back to the Batu Kawan finish. The course is flat apart from the bridge approach, and the bridge section is open to wind and the sea.
