The Patriots Run Half Marathon covers 13.1 miles on closed roads around the Aspiria campus in Overland Park, Kansas, the former Sprint headquarters. Runners repeat a 1.5-mile loop eight times and add a short extra stretch to reach the full distance, so the start, finish and event area stay in view all morning. It runs on the Saturday of race weekend alongside the marathon and the individual and relay ultra.
