Race Info
The 10 for Grete run covers 10 kilometers through central Oslo, starting and finishing at Radhusplassen. It's named for Grete Waitz, the Norwegian long-distance running great who co-founded the cancer charity Active Against Cancer; the 10K was renamed in her honor in 2011, the year she died of cancer. It's the shortest of the Oslo Marathon's competitive running distances, drawing runners from elite level to first-timers.
