ONU Polar Bear Indoor Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Cold start — layer up, moderate wind
Runners will start in chilly 24°F conditions — dress in layers for the corral and plan to shed early. Temperatures rising to 34°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Moderate winds around 13mph may affect pacing on open sections of the course. Moderate humidity at 67% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The Half Marathon is 105.5 laps of the 200-meter indoor track in the field house at Ohio Northern University's Sports Center in Ada, Ohio. It runs on the same Sunday morning in late January as the marathon, on the same flat, dry surface, whatever the weather is doing outside. Runners reverse direction at set intervals, so passing on the turns and moving to the outside lanes add a little distance to the certified length.
