Runners will face temperatures starting at 65°F and peaking at 76°F, with humidity averaging 69%. A light tailwind will aid from miles 3 to 7 and again from 17 to 20, while headwinds will challenge runners at mile 8 and again towards the end of the race. It's advisable to start conservatively and adjust pace accordingly, especially in the warmer sections and during headwind stretches.

Race Info
The New England Green River Marathon is one of the most beautiful races in New England. Starting in Marlboro, Vermont and following the course of the Green River through an 1870’s covered bridge, and ending with a finish-line celebration in the shade of maple trees at Greenfield Community College in Massachusetts. This USATF-certified (Certification MA18003JK) course has a net 1,400 foot drop over a rolling, downhill course that has seen many personal best and Boston qualifying times for well-trained runners.
