Race Info
The McAllen Marathon Scott Crane Run is held on a Saturday in mid-January in McAllen, Texas, in the Rio Grande Valley. The marathon and half marathon start at the McAllen Convention Center at 7:00 AM, and the marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier. The weekend also includes a six-person relay, a 10K, a 5K and a Kids Final Mile. Nearly 3,000 people took part in 2026, and all running events sold out. Source
