Race Info
The Half Marathon starts on US Highway 385 13.1 miles north of Marathon, Texas, and runs south on the east shoulder of the highway to a finish at the Marathon Community Center. The course drops gradually through high desert, and every mile is marked along the road. It shares its last miles with the full marathon, including the late climb that is harder than the profile suggests. The race is held on the Saturday of race weekend, and the highway stays open to traffic.
