Race Info
The Kilimanjaro Marathon, also run as the Kilimanjaro International Marathon, is held in Moshi, Tanzania, at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, with a half marathon and a 5K fun run on the same morning. The marathon starts and finishes at the MoCU stadium. It climbs about 290 meters in the first 8 kilometers, then descends toward town, with a graded dirt-road section between 19 and 39 kilometers. The race is AIMS-registered and the 2027 edition is an official Comrades Marathon qualifier.
