Race Info
The Khon Kaen International Marathon runs through the Khon Kaen University campus and the streets of Khon Kaen City in northeastern Thailand. The marathon, half marathon and mini marathon start and finish at the Golden Jubilee Convention Center on Kalapaphruek Road, with a 3:00 AM gun time to beat the region's daytime heat. It is an AIMS-certified course and a Boston Marathon qualifier. The men's course record is 2:16:44, set by Kenya's Kennedy Lilian in 2011.
