The Power Walking half marathon covers the same 21.1 km loop as the Kassel Half Marathon, from Damaschkestrasse through the Fuldaaue and the northern districts to Friedrichsplatz and the finish in the Auestadion. It is a walking event on the Sunday of race weekend, started with the runners but listed without a competitive ranking. Walkers keep to the right on the course and use poles with care in the stadium finish.
