The Jersey City Marathon and Half Marathon start and finish at Newport Green. The USATF-certified, double-loop course runs along the Jersey City waterfront through Paulus Hook, continues past Liberty State Park with views of the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline, and returns through the Greenville and Bergen neighborhoods. The flat route qualifies runners for the Boston Marathon.
