Struggled with fatigue but loved the crowd support in the final miles

The crowd was excellent for this part of the race, which really helped to alleviate some of the boredom/fatigue that started to set in during the mile 15 block. We hit JB hunt park around mile 23, which means a very nice down hill section. Also, mile 23-26 is by far the prettiest part of the course, even if the racers had thinned out dramatically.

Wouldn't run againRolling

Struggled with cold and wind, but pushed through to a strong finish.

I was hoping for similar conditions as the half, but it seemed that my luck hadn't lasted. It was colder than what I was used to running in, and I had a hell of a time getting my first few gels open with numb fingers. Also: my old nemesis, the wind. The goddamn wind.

Cramps at mile 20 derailed my 4:05 goal but still a PR!

Mile 20 comes and cramps start hitting and that totally derails the pace. At which point I tried to walk it out a bit, stretch it, etc. My 4:05 goal was slipping out of sight. I tried to hold on to that 4:15 goal as much as I could but the pain in the calves from the cramps literally kept me from pushing any harder.
