Race Info
The Hobart Marathon is the flagship race of the Hobart Marathon Festival, run each April along Hobart's Derwent River waterfront in Tasmania. The marathon starts and finishes at Princes Wharf 1 on Castray Esplanade and covers two laps past Salamanca Place and through the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, while the half marathon runs a single lap of the same course. It is a Boston Marathon qualifier. Dillon Gross holds the men's course record at 2:27:25, set in 2026, and Milly Clark holds the women's record at 2:40:40, set in 2025.
