Race Info
The Haunted Forest Marathon is a Halloween-themed marathon, half marathon, and 5K held each October in Canal Fulton, Ohio, on the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. The course is USATF-certified and a Boston Marathon qualifier, with roughly one in five marathon finishers hitting a BQ time in recent years. Race weekend includes a costume-themed expo and course decorations, and proceeds support St. Helena Heritage Park and Canal Fulton's historic downtown. The event began in 2021 as the Spooktacular Festival of Races before adopting its current name.
