Harmon Field Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps, big temp swing, chance of rain
Mild 57°F temps at gun time mean comfortable early miles without overheating risk. Temps will climb significantly to 73°F by later miles, so expect fading conditions as the race progresses. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. There's a chance of rain, so have a backup gear plan ready.

Race Info
The Harmon Field Half Marathon is a 13.1-mile out-and-back road race held at Harmon Field, a 36-acre town park in Tryon, North Carolina, paired with the shorter Morris Fun Run. The half marathon route runs out through Polk County's countryside before returning to the park for the finish. The race debuted in April 2026 with 250 participants and raised more than $11,000 toward improvements at Harmon Field, which had been restored after Hurricane Helene damage in 2024.
