H.C. Andersen Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps
Mild 57°F temps at gun time mean comfortable early miles without overheating risk. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. High humidity (81%) will make it harder to cool down through sweat — increase fluid intake accordingly.

Race Info
The H.C. Andersen Marathon half marathon is one lap of the 21.097 km circuit through the streets of Odense, run on traffic-free roads on the Sunday of race weekend. It starts on Stadionvej beside Odense Idraetspark with the marathon field, passes through the city centre around Flakhaven and Munke Mose, and returns to finish on the track at Odense Atletikstadion. The circuit is measured to DAF-IAAF standards and approved by A.I.M.S., with only 21 metres between its highest and lowest points, which makes it a fast course and a common choice for a first half marathon.
