About the Goat Run Half Marathon
The GOAT Run half marathon is a point-to-point trail run of about 14 miles that finishes lakeside at Log Cabin Resort on Lake Crescent, inside Olympic National Park. It opens with a short stretch of unpaved forest road, then follows about 8.5 miles of singletrack on the Olympic Adventure Trail, 4 miles of forest road and a short paved finish. The route climbs roughly 1,500 feet in total and is the shortest of the three GOAT Run distances.
