The Coast Guard Half Marathon runs 13.1 miles on the Sunday of race weekend in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, starting and finishing on Water Street at the downtown waterfront. The flat, fast course follows the Pasquotank River past Coast Guard Park and the Sailing Center, winds through residential neighborhoods, and returns through historic downtown past Elizabeth City State University. It shares its start with the marathon.
