Race Info
The Buenos Aires Marathon starts and finishes at Av. Figueroa Alcorta and Dorrego in Palermo, near the Hipodromo Argentino de Palermo. The course runs through Recoleta, along Av. Corrientes and the Obelisco, past the Cabildo, Plaza de Mayo and Teatro Colon, through Parque Tres de Febrero and Puerto Madero. It is a World Athletics Label Race, run since 2003 by the nonprofit Carreras y Maratones Nandu. The race typically takes place on a Sunday in September or October, with a 6-hour cutoff from a 7:00 a.m. start.
