Race Info
The Bird-in-Hand Half Marathon takes runners through the Amish farmland of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, starting and finishing near North Ronks Road in Bird-in-Hand. The single-loop, USATF-certified course rolls through open countryside past horse-drawn buggies and a stretch known locally as "The Valley of No Wires." Hand-in-Hand Fire Company, the local volunteer fire department, has organized the race every September since 2011, and proceeds support the fire company.
