Race Info
The Georgetown Half Marathon is a 13.1-mile road race held in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, DC. It is organized by the Safety and Health Foundation, a nonprofit that also produces the Potomac River Run Marathon & Half along the C&O Canal towpath. Race proceeds support girls' education programs, including Mercy Center Foundation in Kenya and Nepal-based programs supported through Kaimont. The race ran nearly every year from 2017 through 2025 (virtually in 2020) before organizers announced it would not take place in 2026.
